Rocky Mount Sports Complex

The Cap Classic® Series will be returning to the Rocky Mount Sports Complex in Rocky Mount, North Carolina for 2020! This travel baseball and softball complex located about an hour east of Raleigh was completed in the fall of 2016. It features 6 youth baseball fields, 4 interchangeable baseball/softball fields, and one Championship baseball field. Teams will also be playing on Nixon Field, home of the Barton College Bulldogs and Bauer Field, home of the North Carolina Wesleyan College Battling Bishops. Play on fields like college and pro players do for an unparalleled youth baseball experience!

FREE Hats

As part of your Registration you are entitled to 18 FREE Customized New Era Team Hats! You can design these hats with your logo and colors. Even down to the thread and undervisor color!! If you would like to order additional hats for your parents, other teams in your organization, a fundraiser, etc. you may do so. They are $20 per hat and can be sent to you before your season starts. Kill 2 birds with one stone and get your hats for the entire season and a tournament with 1 price!!

Play Some New Competition

The Cap Classic North Carolina youth baseball tournament series welcomes travel teams from all over the country. There are currently teams registered from Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, and Indiana. Our goal is to expand on this Who’s Coming list with teams from Tennessee, Delaware, South Carolina, West Virginia and other states. Local teams from Cary, Chapel Hill, Asheville, and Durham among other areas are also encouraged to register! With travel teams coming from all over the eastern region, don’t worry about playing teams from your own backyard over and over again!

Destination Location This event is a great destination location for kids, parents, and coaches alike. Don’t worry about being trapped in your hotel room when your not at the stadium. The Atlantic coastal region of North Carolina has plenty of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. There is a movie theater, skate park, miniature golf course, and several different musuems within 10 minutes of the complex! Rocky Mount is also located about 2 hours from the beach so you can head there for vacation before or after the tournament!

No hat orders will be taken until November 1st! Once your team registration is be paid IN FULL, a representative will contact you about your hat design process.

Baseballs will be provided for each game. This is a 5 game guarantee with Pool Play games beginning on Friday morning. All teams will play 4 pool play games against 4 different teams. Each team will advance into Bracket Play on Sunday!

We will be using Rocky Mount Sports Complex, Barton College, and NC Wesleyan College!

The Cap Classic® Series does require all teams (attending outside a commutable area) to stay in one of our "Approved Hotels".
