Matt DeSantis – Founder and CEO

Matt DeSantis is the founder and CEO of AC Sports. ACB is a Tournament hosting company founded in 2007. His tournaments quickly became some of the largest on the East Coast, with the Cap Classic® Pittsburgh growing to 200 teams in 2017, then reaching 243 teams in 2018 as well as being receiving the “Sports Event to Watch in 2018 Award” by the Sports Events Magazine. In a 2016 VisitPittsburgh study, it was found that the Cap Classic® Pittsburgh (2016) brought $3.3 million in direct spending to the Greater Pittsburgh region. The economic impact in just the Greater Pittsburgh Area was in excess of $4 million in direct spending! In 2018, ACB launched sister events with the formation of Atlantic Coast Softball. 2020 will see the launch of Atlantic Coast Lacrosse. Prior to launching the AC line and Cap Classic® Tournament Series, Matt was the General Manager, coach and instructor for one of Pittsburgh’s largest travel baseball organizations, home to over 1,000 players. Matt holds an Associate’s degree in Sports Management from Keystone College and a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ryan Bisi – Tournament Director

Ryan grew up in Latrobe, PA where he graduated from Greater Latrobe High School in 2012. He then went on to attend Bethany College where he studied Sports Management and was also a four year member of the College’s baseball program. Ryan earned All Conference Honors for the baseball program his junior and senior season and graduated in 2016. He is now an avid sports fan and loves to promote and encourage participation of youth sports around the country.

Scott Markovich – Tournament Director

Scott has been with AC Baseball since October of 2017. He’s worked in travel baseball for a total of 8 years. Scott grew up in Monroeville going to Gateway High School and then West Virginia University. Scott focuses on the Southern tournaments and the growth of new tournaments. In addition, Scott serves as a tournament director for the Cap® Classic Florida, North Carolina and the Shipyard Tourney.

Carl Bailey – Digital Media and Marketing Manager

Carl is from North Huntingdon, PA and is a graduate of Norwin High School. After finishing his high school career, he moved on to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg where he studied management. Eventually after transitioning from management to a marketing focus, he found his way to AC Sports, where he has been since February 2019. Carl is passionate about the sport of baseball and has used that to help grow AC Sports’ websites and social media profiles.
